Unicef - Dirty Water Campaign
The United Nations agency installed a vending machine in Manhattan’s Union Square in raising awareness about the issue of over 4000 children die daily due to water-borne disease. Pedestrians who passed through 14th Street and Park Avenue were confronted with a vividly coloured machine that offered bottles of dirty water in several varieties, including typhoid, cholera, dysentery, and dengue.
Kit Kat – Take A Break Bench
Nasta/Ogilvy and Kit Kat created a bench that monitors how long you ‘take a break’. If a person sits for over a minute, they were rewarded with a free Kit Kat bar. The Break Machine dispensed over 20,000 Kit Kat bars all over Paraguay. In doing so, Kit Kat reached over 600,000 people via their social media channels.
I don’t know about you, but this makes me hungry! I personally am I huge chocolate lover with a massive sweet tooth, so any excuse for chocolate is a winner for me!
Denver Water – Use Only What You Need
The Denver Water ‘Only use what you need’ campaign launched in 2006 with a goal of 22% reduction in water use by the end of 2016.
Now in 2018, water usage has decreased by 30%.
