Instagram is working on a new ‘bonuses’ payment option to encourage people to make more Instagram Reels. This is interesting because Snapchat has a similar feature called Spotlight and this demonstrates how Instagram is trying to be at the forefront of consumer attention.
Facebook has unveiled a new live shopping feature that can be utilised by fashion and beauty brands. Known as Live Shopping Fridays, the brands who’re participating can show how their products work in real-time and it’s a great step forward for eCommerce marketing.

Twitter plan to release a new feature called Twitter Blue, which provides add-on benefits for Twitter users. This includes categorising saved Tweets into topic folders and having access to an ‘undo’ feature that allows users to remove Tweets within an allotted period of time.
There’s also the expectation that Twitter will roll out similar subscription models called Twitter Red and Twitter Green in the future.
Google has announced the creation of a new conversational model called Language Model For Dialogue Applications (LAMDA). This framework is designed to provide an open-ended conversation with a consumer without needing to repeat information.
LAMDA is different from other models in that it will be able to provide more specific responses to product queries and information searches.
This could have a profound impact on SEO and may force businesses to shift how they make products and services discoverable in search engines.
Google is set to launch their new Page Experience Update on mobile and desktop in the near future.
This algorithm change will put a greater priority on how users interact with a website, and it may affect how websites rank in search engines.
